With increasing business investments in digital transformation, government services shifting to digital-first access, online retail surpassing physical store sales, and widespread daily use of digital platforms for entertainment, social interaction, and wellness, demand for User Experience (UX) specialists keeps rising. The MA User Experience Design program teaches fundamental UX principles through lectures, seminars, and practical projects, making it accessible to beginners. Students engage in a collaborative module that develops creative, teamwork, and analytical skills while addressing sustainability challenges. Additional UX coursework provides insights into professional and social contexts of design, along with essential methods for user-centered creation. These components prepare students to define research topics or design products for their capstone project in Designing the Transformed User Experience, applying their knowledge to supervised UX research or portfolio work.
