This program equips you with essential skills for pursuing any of our economics degree tracks. Even if you don't currently meet the entry criteria, it provides the foundational knowledge required to progress to a full honors degree. You'll enhance crucial academic abilities like scholarly writing while building personal and professional competencies to ensure a strong start to your degree journey. The curriculum explores global and domestic business environments alongside contemporary leadership and management practices. During this preparatory year, you'll sharpen analytical capabilities and master data utilization techniques to drive organizational success. Upon completion, you'll qualify to begin your chosen degree program, extending your studies to four years (or five with optional work placements or international study).
Career opportunities: The foundation year serves as a gateway to advanced qualifications and rewarding economics careers. You'll cultivate in-demand competencies including analytical reasoning, data interpretation, and problem-solving. T Levels - We welcome applications from students undertaking T Level qualifications. Eligible applicants will be asked to achieve a minimum overall grade of Pass as a condition of offer.
Equivalent qualifications and combinations will be considered, including Extended Project when achieved at Grade C or above 
AS levels (or qualifications equivalent to AS level) are not accepted.
