POLIS offers postgraduate research programs that allow students to explore complex political questions while making novel contributions to Political Science, International Relations, and Historical studies. Students work with renowned supervisors engaged in cutting-edge research across contemporary politics, political theory, international security, and historical periods from early modern to modern times. From their first day, research students collaborate with supervisory teams while also completing structured research training through the School of Social Sciences, Doctoral College, and Library resources. As integral members of our dynamic research environment, postgraduate researchers engage with specialized Research Centers and Groups, participating in activities that both enhance their individual projects and strengthen POLIS's collective research capabilities, thereby reinforcing our institutional research excellence.
