Our BA (Hons) in Industrial Design provides comprehensive training for creating physical products and devices, with emphasis on aesthetics, functionality, user experience, and production techniques (including CMF - colors, materials, and finishes).
The program cultivates specialized competencies in conceptualizing, developing, and presenting design solutions, interactions, and user experiences. It concentrates on consumer research, 3D design, product aesthetics, prototype development, final product creation, manufacturing methods, and CMF applications.
Industrial Design prioritizes how users engage with products. You'll consistently integrate principles of brand identity, futuristic conceptualization, and ethical design approaches when developing innovative product service systems throughout your studies.
This program shares foundational components with the general Design BA. The key distinction is that rather than choosing a specialization after two years, students commit to Industrial Design from the start. This focused approach benefits those passionate specifically about Industrial Design who wish to refine their expertise in shaping the visual appeal and functionality of modern and future manufactured goods.
