The Sport and Exercise Science (including foundation year) BSc (Hons) offers an alternative pathway to undergraduate education if you lack the typical qualifications or can't meet standard entry criteria. This four-year program culminates in the same degree title and recognition as the conventional three-year course.

Throughout this extended program, you'll gain comprehensive expertise in sports science disciplines such as physiology, anatomy, psychology, and coaching. You'll explore how sports therapists and scientists contribute to enhancing athletic performance and preventing injuries.

At London Met, you'll benefit from outstanding academic guidance through dedicated mentors and tutors, along with access to university-wide support services. The program includes valuable career development workshops and other learning opportunities.

The initial foundation year focuses on building essential scientific and academic capabilities, preparing you for more advanced study in subsequent years. You'll share this introductory year with students from diverse scientific backgrounds, creating opportunities to broaden your knowledge and connect with peers across different disciplines.
