Sports coaches apply their hands-on expertise, analytical understanding, and knowledge of sports science to mentor and elevate athletes and teams to peak performance. Training alongside seasoned coaching professionals in comprehensive specialized facilities, you'll acquire real-world experience while honing your coaching abilities across various sports, environments, and situations—both during placements and through mentoring younger athletes and fellow students. Accredited by the Chartered Institute for the Management of Sport and Physical Activity (CIMSPA).
Option to focus your studies and earn a specialized degree in development, performance, or youth sports and physical education.

A-levels or BTEC
Entry requirements are in the range of A-level BBB–BCC (120–104 UCAS Tariff points), or BTEC Extended Diploma DDM–DMM. Our conditional offers typically fall within this range.
International Baccalaureate
 30 points, including three subjects at Higher level.
Access to HE Diploma
Pass with 60 credits overall. At least 45 credits at level 3, with 24 credits at distinction and 21 credits at merit or above.
T-level
Merit in the Health, Healthcare Science or Science T-level. Other T-levels are not accepted.
A qualification, HE credits, or relevant experience may count towards your course at Brighton, and could mean that you do not have to take some elements of the course or can start in year 2 or 3.
