This undergraduate program equips you with the essential skills to qualify as a dietitian - the sole healthcare professional legally authorized to evaluate, diagnose, and address dietary and nutritional issues for individuals and communities.
You'll explore cutting-edge public health findings and scientific studies about food, wellness, and illness. This practical knowledge will empower you to guide people toward better dietary decisions and improved health habits.
During your education, you'll examine how nutrition impacts various medical conditions. You'll acquire expertise in delivering dietary care to individuals, groups, and populations dealing with or susceptible to chronic health issues.
The program includes three intensive work placements: a two-week placement in your first year, a 12-week placement in your second year, and a 14-week final placement that typically incorporates public health nutrition. These clinical experiences primarily occur within London's NHS facilities, with your performance contributing to your final degree assessment.
