The Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing serves as an innovative research hub for multidisciplinary law enforcement and holds accreditation from the College of Policing to provide degree programs under the Police Education Qualification Framework.
This accelerated two-year Professional Policing degree, approved by the College of Policing (the official Statutory and Regulatory Body for policing), represents one of three recognized entry pathways into the police force since 2020.
The curriculum encompasses diverse aspects of law, social sciences, policy development, and research methodologies crucial for policing careers. Instruction is delivered by faculty with both academic expertise and professional policing experience at the Liverpool Centre for Advanced Policing Studies.
