These experts collaborate with multiple stakeholders to rapidly evaluate affected situations and communities, providing guidance on response efforts, recovery plans, and long-term prevention approaches.Combining diverse disciplines, this program incorporates elements of technology, physical sciences, engineering, sociology, and human geography. Significant focus is placed on hands-on training - ranging from simulated emergency drills to lab work and practical disaster management exercises, both domestically (with Outreach Rescue) and internationally through two compulsory field modules.
