This BA (Hons) Media Production program at Liverpool John Moores University prepares students for the future of media.
The curriculum serves as a training platform for creative industries, blending foundational technical skills with cutting-edge mixed reality technologies.
Our approach emphasizes practical learning - we demonstrate techniques, then you apply them.
Students will work with diverse tools and technologies to tackle creative, theoretical, and critical assignments. The program covers essential preproduction, production, and postproduction techniques for both fiction and nonfiction short films, along with audio podcasting and live production. Second-year students can participate in a TV Studio project, developing and executing a live broadcast from concept to air. The innovative digital workflow component explores immersive storytelling through 360° video, VR, and AR technologies.
