Our MA Photography program encourages creativity and boundary-pushing, helping you cultivate your own signature artistic perspective as a photography professional. The curriculum explores methods for transforming projects into meaningful outcomes like publications, exhibitions, and digital formats, while highlighting the importance of connecting with audiences for long-term artistic success. Using photographic research methodologies, you'll examine the cultural and ethical applications of the medium across various styles and techniques. You'll gain analytical and critical assessment abilities, along with practical knowledge for interacting with the broader photography field. The program features lectures from globally renowned guest speakers, with recent participants including Joy Gregory, Mariela Sancari, Amani Willett, Bolade Banjo, Cécile Poimboeuf-Koizumi, and Amak Mahmoodian.
Applicants who hold a degree from another discipline or have experiential learning in lieu of a degree may also be considered for entry via the Recognition of Prior Learning process (RPL).
