Mechatronic engineering focuses on systems combining mechanical, electronic, and computer engineering - including robotics, digitally controlled engines, and autonomous vehicles. Launched as the first program of its kind in 1984, our curriculum maintains such high esteem that numerous alumni progress to leading engineering teams or advancing into management roles.
Your studies commence with a shared foundation year, where you'll complete core modules alongside all first-year engineering students. This initial phase introduces fundamental engineering concepts, developing comprehensive knowledge and skills while highlighting the field's interdisciplinary nature.
Beyond the first year, the Mechatronics program maintains its interdisciplinary approach, reflecting contemporary engineering demands.
