Qualification Requirements
Undergraduate degree or conversion course which confers eligibility for the graduate basis for chartered membership (GBC) with the British Psychological Society (BPS). Applicants do not need to be members of the BPS. Applicants must have GBC with the BPS at the time of application and cannot apply when an award is pending unless this would be confirmed prior to April in the year of entry.
If you have studied outside of the UK, we would advise you to check your eligibility with the BPS prior to application.
Applications must be made via the Clearing House for Postgraduate Courses in Clinical Psychology and cannot be made directly to the University. Applications close at the end of November in the year proceeding programme commencement. Confirmation of closing dates should be sought via the clearing house website.
We normally require an IELTS (Academic) Test with a minimum of 7.0 in each element of the test. ToEFL IBT or ToEFL IBT Home Edition with an overall score of at least 94, with a minimum of 24 in reading, 24 in listening, 23 in speaking and 25 in writing.
