Your initial year covers foundational courses in both Linguistics and Philosophy. During subsequent years, you'll examine subjects like Global Language Structures, Phonetics Across Cultures, Cognitive Approaches to Language, and Advanced Phonological Studies. The philosophy curriculum offers diverse options such as European Philosophical Traditions, Analytical Reasoning, Philosophy of Art, and Ethics. You'll deepen your linguistics specialization with electives including Mind and Language, Sociolinguistic Identity Studies, and Cultural Cognition in Language.
An optional thesis allows you to investigate a specialized area under faculty guidance, drawing on our departments' expertise.
