This program includes practical exercises covering various journalism skills like crafting articles, conducting interviews, copy editing, creating magazines, maintaining blogs, and publishing digital content.
Working within an editorial group, you'll create two magazines and a companion website while completing an internship with an established publication.
Additional study options include magazine layout, publishing processes, specialized reporting in fashion/sports, or data-driven journalism. The course culminates with either a 15,000-word thesis or an equivalent hands-on project.

We normally expect candidates to have:
a 2:1 or above honours degree or equivalent in an essay-writing subject, demonstrating high standards of literacy, and/or
evidence of substantial and demonstrable professional commitment to journalism.
All non-UK applicants must meet our English language requirement, which is Academic IELTS of 6.5 overall with 7.5 in Writing and at least 5.5 in each other element.
