Our Global Health and Social Medicine program invites prospective doctoral candidates to become part of our vibrant, collaborative academic community. Students engage with our core research areas while working alongside visiting scholars, fellows, and faculty in our shared research space. The department participates actively in the London Interdisciplinary Social Sciences Doctoral Training Centre (LISS-DTP), offering specialized training in interdisciplinary approaches. Additionally, we host a dynamic calendar of academic activities including workshops, discussion groups, and special events. According to recent HEFCE statistics, King's College London shares England's highest PhD completion rate (86.8% within seven years) with Queen Mary University of London, significantly surpassing the national average of 72.9%.
Master's degree in a relavent subject and/or practical experience in the field of study.
IELTS (Academic) - 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in reading & writing and 6.0 in listening & speaking
TOEFL iBT - 100 overall with a minimum of 25 in writing, 23 in reading and 20 in each of the other skills.
