This course provides an in-depth exploration of legal and social policy intricacies affecting children and adolescents, analyzing the connections between legal bodies, childcare professionals, agencies, and broader society.
With a hands-on approach and continuous updates to address emerging safeguarding challenges, the program focuses mainly on UK child law—including the Child Care Act 2016, the Children Act 2004, and associated laws—while considering international child welfare issues. Topics range from child trafficking and modern slavery to adoption, custody arrangements, and care proceedings.
