The MSc Heritage Visualisation program prepares students with the essential expertise to produce digital documentation and visual representations of culturally significant heritage locations and artifacts at local, national, and global levels. Participants will master the diverse techniques required for comprehensive 3D recording of cultural heritage sites and objects, along with effectively presenting these digital assets for various stakeholders including heritage conservation professionals, researchers, tourism operators, and other interested parties. The curriculum blends theoretical instruction, discussion sessions, and practical fieldwork (incorporating technologies like laser scanning and photogrammetry) with model creation exercises, guiding learners through the complete workflow of generating 3D data - from conceptual planning and critical analysis to technical implementation and final presentation. By learning from seasoned experts in heritage conservation, architectural documentation, and digital modeling, students will experience the program's innovative methodology that bridges multiple disciplines including heritage studies, architectural visualization, animation techniques, interactive media creation, and archaeological methodologies.
