Our goal is to cultivate imaginative, forward-thinking, and highly competent podiatric professionals who demonstrate excellent communication skills and genuine compassion for patients. From your first year as an undergraduate, you'll have the opportunity to shadow and collaborate with internationally acclaimed researchers. Your clinical training will include rotations across various outpatient facilities. This hands-on experience, combined with rigorous academic coursework, will prepare you to effectively diagnose and treat conditions impacting the lower extremities and feet. Upon qualification, you'll become an autonomous practitioner capable of identifying and addressing foot-related disorders. Beyond NHS opportunities, you could establish a career in private practice - whether with retail health providers, sports medicine facilities, or by launching your own venture. GCU alumni have successfully transitioned into research roles, entered healthcare business sectors, or advanced their expertise to qualify as podiatric surgeons.
In addition to NHS positions, private sector opportunities abound - ranging from retail health services to specialized sports clinics or entrepreneurial endeavors. GCU graduates have also progressed into research careers, ventured into healthcare commerce, or enhanced their qualifications to practice as podiatric surgeons.
