Our Policing and Criminology program provides students with the chance to explore an applied field, developing the knowledge and abilities needed to become a thoughtful law enforcement professional or pursue wider criminal justice careers.

The curriculum incorporates elements from social sciences, legal studies, technology, and business, offering insights into a discipline that continues to develop both theoretically and practically. It connects academic concepts with real-world applications and incorporates professional perspectives through practitioner contributions.

Police Scotland contributed to the development of this program through consultations and collaborative input.

During their second year, students can choose to participate in 'Volunteering and Employability' opportunities, which may involve practical work experience components.
