Your personal emotional growth is crucial during training. That's why we offer £500 for therapy in your first year, plus another £500 in years two and three for external supervision.
You'll acquire comprehensive knowledge and hands-on expertise through research-based, person-centered methods. From client sessions under supervision to practical training, our experienced faculty will guide you every step of the way.
This BA (Hons) Counselling & Psychotherapy program fulfills the British Association for Counselling & Psychotherapy (BACP) training standards for professional registration. It also creates a pathway to individual BACP accreditation. You may choose to join other professional organizations as a student member during your studies or after graduation.
Upon completion, you'll be equipped to offer therapeutic assistance using empathetic listening techniques. You'll earn a qualification in experiential psychotherapy and counseling while developing versatile skills applicable to various careers. Potential career paths include counseling roles in education, healthcare, community services, or other public/private sectors.
Our alumni typically become PCE counselors and psychotherapists, joining counseling organizations or establishing private practices. Some continue their education through postgraduate programs or doctoral studies.
