The Centre for Particle Theory is a collaborative research initiative jointly operated by the Mathematics and Physics Departments. As the nation's most extensive group of its kind, it boasts over 80 members engaged in diverse research areas across the field. Alongside 26 permanent faculty members, the center includes approximately 12 postdoctoral researchers and 50 graduate students. Both departments admit students for either the research-focused Ph.D. program or the coursework-based M.Sc degree (managed by the Mathematical Sciences Department). The departments are housed in contemporary buildings located roughly 200 meters apart, both offering outstanding resources. Every student receives personalized guidance from an assigned faculty supervisor for their research work.
