The PhD serves as our flagship research program. For full-time students, this three-year course involves working at the most advanced level in your discipline to produce a comprehensive thesis (limited to 100,000 words) that offers a meaningful and enduring contribution to the field. Each PhD candidate receives guidance from a 'supervisory team,' typically comprising two faculty members with relevant expertise. While students usually collaborate closely with a 'primary supervisor,' applicants should proactively reach out to potential supervisors during the application phase. (Review our faculty directory, including their specialties and publications. The Director of Postgraduate Research can provide assistance if needed.) Your prospective supervisor will support you in refining your research proposal.
