Progress in disciplines like Physics, Engineering, Earth Sciences, and Finance is now largely propelled by computational specialists. Particularly, individuals proficient in programming for high-performance computing systems and handling massive datasets have the potential to drive significant change.
The MSc in Scientific Computing and Data Analysis provides a practical curriculum to develop these competencies through three integrated components:
Foundational Computer Science principles for scientific computation (including algorithms, data structures, implementation methods, and software tools)
Mathematical foundations of data analytics
Practical application of core methodologies within specialized fields (currently offering astrophysics, particle physics, financial mathematics, or earth and environmental sciences).
