Leveraging the department's extensive knowledge and experience, the MA in Archaeology provides you with the skills and understanding necessary to pursue an engaging and demanding career in commercial archaeology, heritage preservation, academic research, or various other professional fields.
This program offers both full-time (one year) and part-time (two years) study options, combining specialized modules, lectures, and workshops with dissertation work. Structured around six distinct pathways, the course enables specialization in specific archaeological domains: Landscape Archaeology, Prehistoric Archaeology, the Archaeology of Egypt, the Near East and Asia, the Archaeology and Heritage of East Asia, Classical and Roman Archaeology, and Medieval and Post-Medieval Archaeology (click here for details).
