Structured around six distinct pathways, the course enables specialization in specific archaeological domains: Landscape Archaeology, Prehistoric Archaeology, the Archaeology of Egypt, the Near East and Asia, the Archaeology and Heritage of East Asia, Classical and Roman Archaeology, and Medieval and Post-Medieval Archaeology (click here for details).

Each specialization path helps enhance your skills and knowledge according to your interests and professional goals, preparing you for either PhD-level research or careers in archaeology and related sectors. You'll also connect with fellow students through collaborative research, skill-building sessions, discussions, and our comprehensive event schedule.

Study areas span from Europe's Palaeolithic, Neolithic, Bronze, and Iron Ages to Classical Greek and Roman archaeology, Egyptology, ancient and Islamic Near Eastern archaeology, South Asian Buddhism, Indian Ocean trade networks, and medieval to modern historical archaeology.
