Philosophy examines fundamental questions about human existence across various aspects of life. When you combine philosophy with politics and economics, you'll uncover the reasoning behind major concepts influencing modern society.
This distinguished program allows you to investigate these three crucial fields - their relationships, interactions, and societal effects. You'll learn how they've remained deeply interconnected throughout history while evolving distinct approaches and methodologies over the past two hundred years.
Through theoretical study and practical application, you'll analyze topics like international relations, moral philosophy, and economic development, developing both analytical abilities and the intellectual courage to challenge your own perspectives.
The first year establishes core knowledge in all three disciplines, while subsequent years offer significantly more flexibility. During Years 2 and 3, you'll take at least two modules per subject area, with additional options available from an extensive selection of specialized courses.
Students can extend this three-year program to four years by adding a professional placement or international study year. These opportunities, combined with diverse module choices, create the program's signature adaptability and interdisciplinary nature.
The intellectually demanding curriculum prepares graduates for numerous career paths such as public policy, media, finance, law, advisory services, academia, and government administration.
