Our BA (Hons) Economics program is designed to align with industry demands, providing you with versatile skills for diverse career paths. The program emphasizes practical economic applications. You'll engage with industry specialists through guest lectures and tackle real-world economic challenges through project work. Key components include Macroeconomics, Microeconomics, and Econometrics - essential disciplines that equip you with professional tools for interpreting economic trends and data.

BA Economics students can apply to switch to either the Year Abroad or Placement track in their second year, extending the program to four years.

The program concludes with a self-selected dissertation project, accounting for one-third of your final year grade and demonstrating the expertise gained during your studies.

Qualification Requirements

A level offer – A*AA including Mathematics. BTEC Level 3 NationalExtended Diploma/OCR Cambridge Technical Extended Diploma – D*DD and Mathematics A level at grade A (or equivalent) is required. IB Diploma score – 38 with 666 in higher level subjects, including Mathematics. Science A levels Applicants taking Science A levels that include a practical component will be required to take and pass this as a condition of entry. This applies only to applicants sitting A levels with an English examination board. Ielts - 6.5 with no component under 6.0 , TOEFL iBT - 92 with no component under 23
