In the last two decades, we've witnessed a dramatic surge in cultural and commercial events worldwide, ranging from small-scale creative gatherings to massive international festivals that reshape cities like Edinburgh. This program provides a dynamic learning space, hands-on training, and guided independent research to help you grasp the connections between theory and practice in planning and overseeing arts and cultural events.

The program explores the wide spectrum of cultural happenings. You'll gain insights into coordinating neighborhood festivities, regional events, established festival circuits, elite arts festivals, music performances, and global mega-events. Potential collaborators include the British Arts Festivals Association, Festival Republic (organizers of Latitude and Reading festivals), U-Live, or The Spark Festival for young audiences. Industry experts will share their knowledge through guest talks and workshops, offering valuable networking opportunities.
