Speech and language therapists partner with individuals of all ages facing difficulties in speech, communication, or swallowing functions. They team up with families, caregivers, and various specialists to evaluate needs and provide tailored assistance. This field offers diverse and rewarding career opportunities.

During DMU's three-year program, students explore subjects like phonetics, psychology, medical sciences, and language development. Advanced coursework covers communication disorders, research-backed treatments, and specialized dissertation work in the final year.

Complementing classroom learning, students complete practical placements in schools, healthcare facilities, and community settings. These hands-on experiences help translate theory into practice while building essential clinical competencies.
