Speech and language therapists evaluate, diagnose, and provide treatment for both children and adults experiencing communication disorders or difficulties with eating, drinking, and swallowing. Specializations may include stroke rehabilitation, brain injuries, learning disabilities, speech sound disorders, or autism spectrum disorders.
This three-year Speech and Language Therapy program equips you with the expertise, clinical competencies, and professional assurance to positively impact lives.
Our curriculum is delivered by experienced clinicians and researchers, covering linguistics, psychology, speech pathology, and relevant medical foundations. You'll examine how sociological and social psychological factors influence speech therapy practice while developing crucial research skills for evidence-based healthcare.
The program employs case-based learning methods, allowing you to apply acquired knowledge to both simulated and actual clinical situations, ensuring thorough preparation for your future role as a speech and language therapist.
