Overview
The Politics and International Relations program at DMU provides an engaging educational journey, blending theoretical concepts that shape global systems with hands-on learning opportunities outside traditional classroom settings. This stimulating curriculum enhances your grasp of political developments and equips you with practical skills to apply your knowledge in real-world scenarios.
Following foundational modules that examine political systems from local to international levels, you can choose between two specialized tracks: Politics or International Relations. The Politics track delves into topics like UK governance beyond Parliament, political dynamics in the Americas, urban social divisions, and sustainability policies. The International Relations track concentrates on global development disparities, conflict resolution, and managing international emergencies. Your studies culminate in a self-directed research project, allowing you to tailor your expertise to align with professional goals.
