The Financial Markets, Intermediation and Ethical Finance (FMIEF) division examines various aspects of financial market operations, pricing mechanisms, and intermediation processes, including banking practices, operational features, and performance assessment. Beyond these core research domains, the FMIEF has developed notable expertise in valuing alternative assets like catastrophe bonds and Islamic financial instruments. Our team is dedicated to studying elements that may compromise market integrity, including behavioral biases, regulatory limitations, and unforeseen economic disruptions.
