The Centre for Arts, Memory and Communities (CAMC) represents one of three research hubs within Coventry University's Faculty of Arts and Humanities. Under the leadership of Professor Patricia Phillippy, CAMC fosters a dynamic research environment that integrates three key academic themes: Critical Practices, Cultural Memory, and Arts in Well-being. Our approach combines transdisciplinary and multidisciplinary perspectives - we maintain rigorous standards within our specialized fields while championing cross-disciplinary collaboration as a catalyst for academic innovation and positive societal impact. CAMC provides an outstanding collaborative space where internationally recognized researchers, artists, and creative professionals actively engage with each other's work while supporting emerging scholars and postgraduate researchers. We invite postgraduate students to join our distinguished research community, where they can investigate cutting-edge areas of study under the mentorship of field-leading experts. Our research spans diverse disciplines including Art History, Corpus Linguistics, Cultural History, Curatorial Studies, English Literature and Creative Writing, Memory Studies, Material Culture, Artistic Practice Research, and Curatorial Practice.
