A career in Operating Department Practice (ODP) offers a dynamic and fulfilling opportunity to provide patient care in surgical theater settings. This program is approved by the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC), allowing graduates to qualify as operating department practitioners after meeting all requirements (subject to additional conditions and fees).

Eligible UK students may qualify for annual £5,000 grants through the NHS Learning Support Fund (non-repayable), plus extra financial assistance for those with childcare expenses6. Cutting-edge training resources feature simulated operating theaters, scrub rooms, ambulance replicas, advanced medical mannequins, ward simulations, intensive care setups, and other realistic clinical environments.

UCAS points 112 A level BBC GCSE Minimum 5 GCSEs graded 9-4 including English, Mathematics and Science BTEC DMM in a Health or Sport based subject IB Diploma 29 points to include 14 points at Higher level Access Diploma The Access to HE Diploma in a Health or Science related subject to include 15 credits at Distinction and 30 credits at Merit. Plus GCSE English and Mathematics at grade 4/C or above. IELTS 7.0 overall with at least 6.5 in each component area
