Midwives serve a crucial function in promoting the health and wellness of mothers and their families throughout pregnancy, delivery, and the initial postpartum phase. This program is fully approved by the Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMC), enabling graduates to register as midwives upon completion (additional fees may be required).
UK-based students enrolled in this program qualify for a government grant of at least £5,000 annually, with extra support available for those with childcare expenses. Training takes place in the Alison Gingell Building, equipped with specialized facilities including a midwifery unit, hospital simulation wards, surgical theater, intensive care setups, community housing models, and other authentic healthcare training environments.
