Earning this honors degree can lead to diverse career opportunities across various engineering fields and equip you for advanced postgraduate studies. Designed for students who've taken a vocational path with a Foundation Degree, DipHE, HND, or equivalent qualification, this program helps you enhance your existing credentials. Through hands-on, activity-based learning, we'll help you expand your engineering and mathematical expertise while developing professional problem-solving abilities. You'll apply your knowledge by working through case studies and conducting an independent research project. By completing this program, you'll upgrade your current qualifications to an honors degree level, with coursework tailored to build upon your prior mechanical and mathematical knowledge.
You will need to have, or expected to achieve, a FHEA Level 5/SCQF Level 8 Foundation Degree (FD), DipHE, or HND in Engineering. Successful completion of 2 years appropriate academic study in Higher Education. 5 GCSEs at grade 4 / C or above to include English and Mathematics.
Alternatively you will need to have a recognised equivalent where there is a substantial component of mechanical engineeringscience or a closely related discipline
