This specialized integrated master's program explores various advanced naval architecture subjects. You'll receive a comprehensive mechanical engineering education with an emphasis on maritime applications, studying areas such as design, mechanics, and hydrodynamics to prepare for diverse scientific careers. The MEng Ship Science program examines the creation, building, and evaluation of ships and marine structures for purposes ranging from transportation to recreation and resource extraction. You'll master fundamental naval architecture concepts and marine vessel principles, with opportunities to focus your studies through one of six specialized tracks: Advanced Computational Engineering, Marine Engineering and Autonomy, Naval Architecture, International Naval Architecture, Ocean Energy and Offshore Engineering, or Yacht and High-Performance Craft.
