You can pursue your research degree in the Division of Infection & Immunity. Our research spans from fundamental studies of infection and immune responses to applied work that directly improves disease diagnosis, treatment, and prevention. We provide comprehensive training in immunological disease mechanisms at molecular and cellular levels, with particular strengths in innate immunity, cancer immunology, T-cell biology, and microbial infections. The division offers access to cutting-edge technology platforms including genomics, proteomics, lipidomics, advanced imaging, and flow cytometry, supported by experts in cell and molecular biology. Modern laboratory spaces in the Henry Wellcome and Tenovus Buildings feature state-of-the-art equipment and shared core facilities for proteomics, genomics, transgenics, flow cytometry, histology, and imaging.
Program durations: PhD 3-4 years, MD 2 years, MPhil 1 year (full-time)
