Guided by specialists, our graduate students engage with stimulating opportunities to discuss and share perspectives, whether through our globally-linked Research Centers or various seminar programs. Our interdisciplinary initiatives consistently push research forward, backed by collaborators including the Arts and Humanities Research Council and the Wellcome Trust. We provide knowledge and skills for careers in research (media, corporate, government sectors), public service, education, and academia. While we cover all major disciplines, these fields stand out as particular strengths: Archaeology and History of Ancient Societies, the Roman Republic & Empire or Late Antiquity and Early Middle Ages, Greek Inscriptions, Political and Social History of Greek City-States, Roman Republic and Empire Studies, Late Antiquity and Early Medieval Research, Ancient Warfare, Urban Development and Architecture, Gender and Sexuality Studies, and Classical Medicine.
