Architectural engineers create the structures that define our daily lives, specializing in structural engineering, architectural design, and building systems.

This professionally accredited program equips you with theoretical knowledge, practical skills, and hands-on training to become a competent architectural engineer. Through lab work, site visits, individual assignments, and design studios, you'll apply classroom learning while honing your surveying and design capabilities.

You'll select from various real-world engineering challenges and industry scenarios, working both independently and alongside engineering students from other specializations. Our open-access innovation lab offers space for designing, prototyping, and teamwork.

The program includes an optional paid placement, available both in the UK and internationally, allowing you to gain professional experience and implement your acquired skills. Previous students have secured placements with leading firms like Arup, Mott MacDonald, and WSP.
