Why choose this programOur intensive three-year diagnostic radiography and imaging degree is approved by both the Health and Care Professions Council and the Society and College of Radiographers. This program prepares you to become a skilled diagnostic radiographer, equipped to adapt to the evolving field of medical imaging.Diagnostic radiographers play a vital role in healthcare teams, collaborating with physicians and other professionals to deliver compassionate care to patients of all ages. They utilize advanced imaging technologies found in contemporary medicine, such as CT scanners, MRI machines, ultrasound devices, and X-ray systems.As a diagnostic radiographer, you'll deliver complete patient care from infants to seniors, creating and analyzing medical images to identify injuries and illnesses. Upon graduation, you'll possess comprehensive understanding of both professional and technical aspects of diagnostic radiography, including current imaging modalities.Patient-centered care is fundamental to our approach, with significant emphasis on developing interpersonal skills throughout the program. The School fosters a collaborative learning environment, offering chances for interdisciplinary education and shared learning experiences with other healthcare students.Learning approach and evaluationThis curriculum emphasizes the connection between all course elements, particularly applying theoretical knowledge to radiography practice. A level - BBB-BBC. Must include grade B in Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Psychology. Must include Maths. International Baccalaureate - 31-30 overall or 665-655 in 3 HL subjects. Must include grade 6 in HL Biology, Chemistry, Physics, or Psychology. You must have or be working towards: English language or Welsh language at GCSE grade B/6 or an equivalent (such as A-levels). English Language GCSE C/4 will be accepted where you are taking qualifications at a higher level which are taught through the medium of English such as A-levels. four GCSEs at grade C/4. Must include Maths, and two sciences (from Biology, Chemistry, and Physics), or equivalent qualifications (subject and grade). IELTS (academic) At least 7.0 overall with a minimum of 6.5 in all subskills. TOEFL iBT At least 100 overall with a minimum of 22 in all subskills. PTE Academic At least 76 overall with a minimum of 69 in all communicative skills.
