The Cardiff Met BSc (Hons) Criminology program merges theoretical knowledge with practical research, offering a contemporary curriculum that reshapes perspectives on crime studies.
Alongside examining core philosophies and theories that define criminology as an academic discipline, students will investigate supporting evidence for these concepts and may even advance our collective knowledge in current, innovative subject areas.
At Cardiff Met, the Criminology program emphasizes three interconnected themes integrated throughout the course: Criminological Theories, Criminal Justice System foundations, and modern developments in Criminology.
The second-year work placement offers exceptional professional experience in relevant fields, complemented by various volunteer options during your studies. The included ILM Level 5 Leadership and Management certification enhances graduate employability, giving you a competitive edge upon completion.
