Studies in Culture and Evolution examine how psychological traits and behaviors vary across cultures and their evolutionary roots - combining immediate and long-term viewpoints, spanning from individual biology and personality to group dynamics and broader cultural contexts. Our work unites leading experts in evolutionary and cross-cultural psychology, exploring topics like human behavioral ecology through three key themes: Relationships - Including mate selection, relationship dynamics, jealousy, and interactions between cultures. Morality - Covering ethical norms, political ideologies, and perspectives on resource allocation. Conflict & Cooperation - Encompassing personal and group tensions, mating competition, and causes of discord like inequality.
