This Master's program has been designed to meet the growing need for skilled professionals capable of developing innovative flood management solutions to safeguard communities. The program is jointly offered by Brunel University and HR Wallingford, a globally recognized leader in civil engineering and environmental hydraulics. Students will gain specialized engineering expertise to effectively plan, design, execute, and oversee flood and coastal risk reduction projects. The course provides access to Brunel's hydraulic testing equipment, including benches and flumes, as well as HR Wallingford's UK-leading hydraulics lab featuring extensive testing capabilities such as large-scale tanks, modeling basins, rapid flow systems, and tsunami simulation technology.
