The Brunel Finance and Accounting BSc equips students with essential expertise, competencies, and perspectives to thrive in accounting professions and various financial sector positions. This degree, accredited by ACCA, CIMA, and ICAEW, establishes a robust foundation in financial and accounting principles while clarifying their regulatory and societal contexts. During the initial two years, you'll examine key topics including financial markets, accounting standards, managerial accounting, and corporate finance. You'll also master econometrics and gain valuable data modeling abilities, along with proficiency in industry-standard analytical tools like SAS, EViews, Bloomberg, Reuters, and STATA. In your final year, you can specialize in areas such as auditing, tax strategy, financial engineering, or behavioral finance. The program offers flexible study paths: a three-year full-time option or a four-year version incorporating a professional placement year between the second and third years for practical work experience.
