This program enables you to explore economics while specializing in financial markets and corporate finance. You'll gain insights into modern economies and their central financial systems, examining how businesses, individuals, and governments influence society. The curriculum covers financial market operations and decision-making processes, equipping you with valuable skills in modeling, data analysis, and critical thinking. Economics offers frameworks for interpreting global dynamics, revealing how entities behave and suggesting optimal strategies. It guides government policies on urgent matters like climate change and inequality, while also assisting businesses in pricing, investment, and strategic choices. On a personal level, it aids in life decisions, from career planning to retirement savings. Finance studies encompass two key areas: corporate finance, which deals with business funding and investment strategies, and financial markets, which connect investors with entities needing capital through instruments like stocks, bonds, and derivatives. Bangor Business School boasts expert faculty specializing in diverse economic and financial fields, including behavioral finance, regulation, and public policy. Our researchers collaborate with governments, regulators, and financial professionals, integrating real-world expertise into your learning. Placement and International Experience Years are offered.
