The School invites inquiries regarding telecommunications hardware, computer networks, gaming technology, electronic engineering, and software engineering. Current faculty research focuses on gaming, e-commerce, smart home systems, educational technologies, artificial intelligence, cybersecurity, digital forensics, robotics, and cloud computing.
A PhD (Doctor of Philosophy) represents the pinnacle of academic achievement, requiring original, in-depth research culminating in an approximately 80,000-word dissertation.
The School provides expert guidance for students pursuing PhD research programs, available both full-time and part-time. Accepted candidates will be assigned a Director of Studies (primary supervisor) and at least one secondary supervisor, along with access to training workshops and seminars.
Research students will engage with diverse academics, participate in seminars, collaborate on publications with supervisors, and attend national and international conferences. The Faculty boasts a vibrant community of research students who organize both social and scholarly events.
