Our advanced Music Technology programs offer composers and performer-composers a platform to explore and master both traditional and cutting-edge musical technologies.

Royal Birmingham Conservatoire serves as a global hub for tech-enhanced performance and composition, notably through projects like the celebrated Integra Live software, which simplifies interactive audio processing for innovative music creation.
Given this environment, our Music Technology postgraduate programs present a dynamic chance for artists to push boundaries and hone their skills in applying both classic and emerging tech tools creatively.
Students enjoy complete access to our state-of-the-art £57 million facilities, featuring performance venues, seven professional recording studios, post-production suites, and our experimental black-box theater, The Lab. While specializing in Music Technology, our curriculum also helps cultivate additional competencies valuable for music industry careers.
