Our BA in Art History combined with a modern language (French, German, Italian, Japanese, or Spanish) allows you to cultivate essential abilities like analytical reasoning, academic writing, historical investigation, and visual interpretation, while also learning a foreign language from skilled instructors. The program examines artworks, architectural structures, and exhibitions within their cultural and political frameworks, while also considering the broader societal impact of visual imagery. Our curriculum creatively utilizes London's art institutions and cultural venues, along with international study trips each spring.

We approach art history as a vibrant discipline that includes architecture, installations, exhibitions, print media, digital platforms, as well as traditional forms like painting, sculpture, and photography. Your education will be guided by accomplished scholars who are recognized authors of innovative art historical research spanning medieval to modern periods.
