This interdisciplinary course encourages you to investigate links between various fields and schools of thought while studying them in depth. You'll develop an understanding of diverse worldviews, questioning your own perspectives and values. Through collaborations with environmental nonprofits, faith communities, and local groups, you'll craft thoughtful solutions to pressing concerns. Like the evolving nature of religious and philosophical inquiry, our curriculum adapts and challenges you to cultivate disciplined, analytical thinking.
You'll study global religious, philosophical, and ethical traditions beyond Western frameworks, including Indian and Chinese thought systems, plus diverse faiths from Buddhism to Christianity to Paganism. The optional placement year lets you gain professional experience through one or more positions spanning at least nine months, proving your readiness for career-level work.
